This beginner level class is perfect for first-time musicians. Students will learn the basics of piano and musical theory. Basic techniques are essential to a long and successful career in music.
The class will focus on foundational skills such as proper playing form and posture, muscle building, keyboard acclimation, and learning notes.
The intermediate class builds off of the skills acquired in the beginner class. Students will continue working with their instrument, reading music, and further advancing in music theory.
The class will focus more on musicianship, dynamics, musical flow, and consistent mastery of techniques.
The advanced class is for students who have been playing properly and consistently. Advanced students learn classic, master-level repertoire (Chopin, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, etc.). The teacher provides guidance where needed, as the students at this level have mastered techniques that allow them to focus more on refining their overall craft, musical interpretation, tone color, consistency, and balance.
*If applicable, graduating students will work towards their Studio Graduation Recital, a concert dedicated for them to showcase their music career to friends and families. Visit the Studio Policy page for more information.
