Tardiness
If there is tardiness, tuition is still paid according to the scheduled lesson time and no extension will be granted.
Sick Days
Make-up lesson will only be given for sicknesses when a 24-hr advance notice of cancellation is given. Failure to notify will be considered a no-show, resulting in no make-up.

The studio will provide you the classes you have left based on the time tuition is paid, which in this example is the fourth lesson on the last Friday in January.

STUDENT CONDUCT
The studio is both familial and business. Rude or disrespectful behavior toward the teacher or her property (piano, etc.) will not be tolerated.
Practice & Preparation
To fully enjoy music and excel further with opportunities of playing fantastic music, mastering skills and techniques is essential. Therefore, please practice your assignments well before the upcoming lesson. Students will play their assignments during lessons. Only when the student has played well during the review of the assignments, can the student progress to the next assignment. Make sure you are fully equipped for the lesson (music books & metronome). Practicing adequately and coming to class prepared, will ensure your success!
During Lesson
Students must silence or turn off all electronic devices (cellphones, iPads, etc.) to ensure a distraction free environment during the lesson.
PARENTS & GUARDIAN (If applicable)
I ask parents/guardians to be respectful to my profession as the teacher and the studio as my business by adhering to the guidelines listed in this studio policy, especially those identified in the Cancellations and Tuition & Payment sections.
Pre-lesson Check
For younger students, please make sure the students arrive to their lessons with everything that they need (music books and metronome). Please check to ensure students have trimmed nails for every class.
Parent Participation
Consistent parent participation in at-home practice is strongly encouraged and is essential in order for the child to receive the maximum benefit of their lessons. This can be as simple as ensuring they are practicing consistently without distractions. The younger the student, the more parental support will be needed at home.
Tardiness
If there is tardiness, tuition is still paid according to the scheduled lesson time and no extension will be granted.
